1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Conscious Cookings websites, apps, or related services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. What Conscious Cookings provides

Conscious Cookings operates an online platform that helps connect customers with independent chefs, home kitchens, and food businesses (“Partners”) who list meals and related offerings. We provide technology and marketplace infrastructure only. We do not prepare food, employ Partners as our kitchen staff for their offerings, or control how Partners run their operations beyond what is needed to operate the platform.

The Services are offered to you at no charge for basic access to the platform in accordance with these Terms; certain fees may apply to orders, subscriptions, or optional features as disclosed at checkout or in your account.

3. Platform only; limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, your use of meals, products, delivery, and any interaction with Partners is at your own risk. Partners—not Conscious Cookings—are responsible for the preparation, quality, safety, labeling, allergens, timing, and legality of what they sell. Disputes about food quality, refunds for prepared goods, or conduct between you and a Partner are primarily between you and that Partner, subject to any separate policies shown at order time.

Conscious Cookings strives to keep the Services reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind except where prohibited by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Conscious Cookings and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services or any content or transactions on the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Conscious Cookings in fees for the Services directly giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) where applicable law does not permit such a cap, the minimum amount required by law.

4. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Services.

5. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (for example, via the Services or email). Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services.

6. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Conscious Cookings and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

7. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Courts located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
